Thursday, Creepin' Cadavers and Murder Weapon are on the bill at Ralph's; The Weight of Gravity jams at Chasers; Duncan Arsenault is joined by Troy, Jon and Jeff at The Dive while Brooks Milgate is down across the rotary playing at Nick's; and Girls, Guns and Glory headlines Tammany Hall.

On Friday, it's a funk dance party with Humblebee and Holmes on stage at the Lucky Dog; Traphiq crams The Hotel Vernon; Flock of Assholes bring their shenanigans to the new Jillian's stage; Sun Jones joins the Gary Backstrom Band at Tammany Hall; Rose Colored Glasses rocks The Cannery; Gilmour's Breakfast pays tribute to Pink Floyd at Rick's Billiards in Putnam, CT; The Cosby Sweaters sing '80s song acoustic style at the Greyhound Pub; the Doctors Fox sneaks into Vincent's; Jason James debuts at Irish Times; Rapaso is with Akasha from Costa Rica at London Billiards's Club Oasis; and Pet Rock does its first night of a whole weekend at Sakura Tokyo, where it returns to play dance tunes from the '70s and '80s on Saturday night as well.

Also on Saturday, Matt Shwachman's band is at the Galway Bay; the mighty Arthur Dent Foundation is reunited for one show only at Tammany Hall; Switchblade Suicide, Treadwater, Silent Season and Griffon share the stage at the Lucky Dog; Uncle Billy's Smokehouse opens for Sublime tribute Badfish at The Palladium; Bret Talbert sings at Tom's Gourmet Marketplace in Northboro; Andy Dow joins the Underberrys at Clark University; Wheels of Fire burn The Nines on Millbury Street; The Valves blast PJ's Bar and Grill; Los Maestros are at the White Eagle; Matt Shwachman sings at the Galway Bay; Bill McCarthy is singing at the Whistle Stop; Route 44 opens for the Cobra-matics at Ralph's; Auntie Trainwreck rocks Greendale's; the Swaggerin' Growlers are with Sawmill at the Greyhound Pub; the Ed Melikian Ensemble heads back to the Sahara Restaurant; the Babe Pino Band does the blues at Nick's; and Commander Cody leads his Lost Planet Airmen at the Bull Run in Shirley.

Other events:

The Sprinkler Factory hosts the opening reception on Saturday for sculptor Jon Williams's exhibit called Familiar: Objects from a Hidden Landscape. The reception is from 6-9 p.m., the exhibit will be on display through May 8.

On Saturday, there's a Zip Trip (which means a relatively fast tour) that examines the exhibit Union by Bill Viola at the Worcester Art Museum. At 6 p.m., it's a “Celebration of the Theatre” at Foothills Theatre, which is an evening of food, drinks, an auction and live entertainment brought to you by some of the great talent that has performed on the Foothills stage over the years.
